In the past we have usually blessed our babies when they were about 1 1/2 to 2 months old. With Porter we decided to wait until when Kinley was baptized so in case family could come they would be here for both. My Father-in-law hurt his back the day before he was supposed to fly out here. So we decided to wait a few more weeks so he could heal and come. So by the time we blessed Porter he was over 4 months old. We are lucky he still fit into his outfit.
It was a beautiful day. We are grateful for all of those who participated, and those who came to support our family. A special thanks to my mom for making the blessing outfit. She has made all 7 of our children's blessing gowns or jumpers. As soon as I find time I will get it on the wall with the other ones.
